Our purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus through access to horses and participation in equine-related activities.

1:1 Sessions
Horses helping to bring hope and healing.
CRM’s one on one sessions build relationships between those who are hurting and rescued horses, opening the door for God’s true hope and healing!
Program Overview: 1:1 Sessions consist of a check-in, equine activity, time for processing and reflection, and check-out. These sessions provide a safe place for hurting individuals to process their pain, grieve, and lament.
CRM horses help build their confidence, teach them to trust again, help them learn to connect with others, help them communicate, teach them to set and maintain boundaries and recognize and manage their emotions. The duration of this program typically takes about eight weeks, meeting once a week for 60-90 minutes with the participant, the session leader, and a horse. The same session leader and horse will be used for the duration of the course. However, the session leader will move at the pace of the participant; therefore some session courses will be longer than eight weeks, whereas some may be shorter.
**It is important to note that this program is not a medical treatment. The participants are learning how to apply God’s word to their lives, while simultaneously learning to relate to the horse, including controlling the horse’s movements.**

Mobile Mini Program
Can’t make it to one of our farms? No sweat. Our mobile minis love to visit assisted living facilities, churches, vacation Bible schools, day-hab programs, and school events, to name a few.
Cross Rails’ smallest horses encourage individuals to learn more about themselves, the dynamics of relationships, and the development of interpersonal communication skills.
The main goal of this mobile outreach is based on Mathew 28:19-20:
“Go to the people of all the nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.”

Faith-Based Riding Lessons
Faith-based horseback riding lessons in Charleston, SC combine the joys of horsemanship with Christian teachings to offer a unique experience that can help individuals grow in their faith. These horse riding programs can teach valuable life lessons while providing a peaceful, reflective environment.
Our Charleston-based horse riding lessons are $45 for a 30-minute lesson and are held at three locations:
Tail Race Farm — Moncks Corner, SC
Acres of Hope — St. Stephen, SC
Still Water Farm — Round O, SC
